Mercè 2021, the year where the saint becomes an empowered queen full of hidden details.

Our goal for the Mercè 2021 graphic campaign, illustrated by Malika Favre, was to convey female strength and empowerment and all that Barcelona has to offer after a harsh confinement.




The deep and penetrating look of the woman, invites to create a graphic that breathes strength, power and stays in people’s heads. Extended typography simplifying ‘La Mercè’ to ‘Mercè’ to make it more direct and forceful.


Distribution of 15,000 posters in different parts of the city, free distribution among citizens and design of a special edition for entities and people who make the festival possible. It has been seen all over the city.
